2013 Pet Industry Awards Call for Nominations


The annual Summit Awards, hosted by the Summit for Urban Animal Strategies
is now accepting nominations. The Awards are focused on recognizing those within communities and the companion animal industry who go above and beyond to address the well-being of companion animals.  PIJAC Canada is looking for nominees in the retail and product or service categories and are also open to other category candidates.  Companies whose nominations are approved  by the Summit awards committee will be announced in the media giving recognition to those participants.
Industry sectors involved include; pet businesses, agencies, organizations, and
individuals from all four sectors of the companion animal industry. These sectors
are animal care & control, animal health & wellness, animal humane & rescue and animal services & retail. 

Award categories include:

• Product or service innovation
• Responsible breeder
• Animal Homing
• Animal Sheltering
• Animal Wellness
• Community compliance
• Community collaboration
• Communication
• Distinguished service provider
• Individual achievement
• Lifetime achievement
