As announced at the press conference on October 22, MAPAQ
launched November 4 a radio campaign on the theme : Ready for a pet? Really?
The aim of the campaign is to educate Quebecers aged 35 to
54 years , with responsibilities related to the adoption of a cat or a
dog.
Radio messages are have been on air since Monday. They are broadcast on
different channels in French in Montreal , Quebec , Sherbrooke, Trois -Rivières
, Rimouski , Matane , Sept -Îles , Ottawa, Gatineau , Rouyn- Noranda, Val- d'Or
, as well as community radio.
To support the campaign and to provide information on the
responsibilities to consider before adopting a pet , a web page has been
created on the website of the Ministry.
