CKC Teams Up with Pet Vu Inc. to Help Members Keep Their
Dogs Safe
Oakville, Ontario – July, 27 2016 CKC is pleased to announce its new alliance with PetVu Inc. to bring members an exclusive offer featuring Pet Vu’s cutting-edge
technology that allows owners to track their dog’s location and daily
activities at all times, using Pet Vu’s GPS tracking device.
Pet Vu uses mobile technology and offers its GPS
tracker in conjunction with a mobile app that is downloadable via The App Store
or Google Play. The device can be attached to a dog’s collar, or to the collar
that comes with the unit. Once it has been attached to a dog and a profile set
up on the owner’s mobile device, the dog’s location can be tracked.
“According to statistics, one in three pets will
become lost during their lifetime and only one third of dogs will be reunited
with their owners,” said Omar Malik, Pet Vu’s Founder and CEO. “We are proud to
partner with the CKC to give CKC members a proactive rather than reactive
solution in the event their dogs are lost.”
CKC members receive a 20% discount on all purchases
using a special CKC Member Code. In addition to the 20% discount on the GPS
tracker, Pet Vu is waiving the first six months of service fees for CKC Members
and has negotiated an exceptionally low data plan rate with Rogers Wireless.
CKC Executive Director Lance Novak is pleased with
CKC’s new alliance with Pet Vu. “We are working on many levels to deliver
exceptional value to our membership and building relationships with companies
like Pet Vu is just one example of how we are doing that. CKC member-preferred
pricing makes the device more accessible to our members and may help keep their
dogs safe,” said Mr. Novak.
