Passing of a Colleague
We were saddened to hear about the passing of Dr. Milton Ness this past week. Over many years Dr. Ness has presented PIJAC Canada's Certified Reptile Specialist program and other exotic animal care workshops, always making himself available to teach at our shows. An avid educator and passionate animal health practitioner, Milton will be sorely missed by the staff at the association and those he taught and shared his passion with. In particular the citizens of Edmonton will be deeply impacted as Milton was also the Chief Veterinarian at the Edmonton Valley Zoo. Below is an article from the Edmonton Sun which shares more detail of Dr. Ness's career and achievements, in particular his widely read about advocacy work for Lucy the elephant.
