The Calgary Pet
Industry Trade Show is moving to a new spot at Stampede Park. The BMO Centre (Hall C) will be the location
for the show in 2014. Last week the team at the Calgary Stampede
determined that the Big Four Building would not be ready in time to host the
show and have been collaborating with us to work out the details for the shift. “Due to flood damage the building
needed extensive repairs which are scheduled to be completed in April, but we
wanted to be 100% sure our venue would be ready so we went ahead with the move.
“ says Roselyne Leveque, Event
Coordinator for PIJAC Canada, “Our biggest challenge has been to rework the
floor plan keeping it as close to the original layout as possible. We want our exhibitors to be comfortable in
the news space and for our visitors to easily find the suppliers they are
looking for.”
Despite the last minute
changes, preparations for the show are still on schedule and the team at PIJAC Canada
looks forward to welcoming businesses from across the province and neighbouring
BC on the 13th of April. The floor plan with exhibitors can be found on the PIJAC Canada website.
