CFIB’s Fraud Squad is hosting a free webinar on Preventing Fraud in Your Small Business.

In recognition of March Fraud Awareness Month, CFIB’s Fraud Squad is hosting a free webinar for CFIB members and guests on Preventing Fraud in Your Small Business.

This webinar is open to Canada’s small business community. Please take advantage of advanced registration and feel free to share this information with other entrepreneurs within your network.

Small businesses can be very susceptible to fraud. Every year, entrepreneurs become victims of fraud because there are fewer people within the business to catch the various types of fraud that may be targeting them. It is estimated that fraud is costing small businesses millions of dollars annually.

CFIB small business counsellors have fielded many calls on the topic of fraud and have helped members by offering prevention advice as well as support, assistance and expertise through various fraudulent situations. Now, as part of our activities throughout March, we have compiled some of the top offending fraud schemes against small business in order to help you spot and deal with fraud before it happens.

This webinar will provide valuable, actionable information to help you recognize, report and stop fraud.

During this free webinar, participants will learn about the types of fraud specifically targeting small businesses (credit card, directory, health and safety, etc.), what to do when you see fraud and what steps to take if you are a victim of fraud.

Register for CFIB’s free webinar today. Space is limited.
