NEW EVENTS & ATTENDANCE UP AT EXPOZOO 2014
Sherbrooke, QC was a lovely
setting for this 16th edition of the ExpoZoo pet industry trade
show. Over 900 industry professionals
from around Quebec and from as far away as Alberta and New Brunswick descended
on the conference centre to meet with vendors.
“We were delighted to see a healthy increase in attendees this year”,
says Roselyne Leveque, “We also had some fantastic feedback from visitors about
our new events happening at the show”. ExpoZoo
wowed visitors and exhibitors with two new major events. Thanks to a partnership with research company
Packaged Facts, PIJAC Canada was able to offer a breakfast conference
presentation on the Canadian Pet Market Outlook for 2014 with the latest data
on pet spending and consumer behaviour. The
presentation will be available to PIJAC Canada members on the association’s
member website shortly. This year also saw the reintroduction of the grooming
competition. Participants, audience and
sponsors alike were all delighted to take part in this two day event.
