LES CANADIENS COLLABORENT POUR RAMENER LES ANIMAUX DE COMPAGNIE À LA MAISON

Saviez-vous que grâce aux leaders canadiens de l’industrie des animaux de compagnie, la micropuce de votre animal peut être lue dans tout le pays ? Ces leaders forment la Coalition nationale pour les animaux de compagnie (CNAC). 

La CNAC travaille en collaboration pour s’assurer que les produits à identification par radiofréquence (lecteurs à micropuces, les micropuces et leurs bases de données) sont conformes aux normes canadiennes révisées pour les appareils d’identification électroniques utilisés pour les animaux de compagnie. Cela signifie que peu importe où un animal a été perdu, que ce soit loin ou près de la maison, sa micropuce peut être lue partout.

Les services pour animaux de compagnie, tels les cliniques vétérinaires, les municipalités, les organismes de charité et les contrôles animaliers qui utilisent les produits qui apparaissant sur la liste de la CNAC peuvent :

1.      S'assurer que leur lecteur de micropuce sera capable de lire les puces affichant la puce standard actuelle et l’ancienne (ISO).

2.      Accéder aux bases de données applicables et à jour pour trouver et ramener un animal perdu à la maison.

HOW CANADA HAS PULLED TOGETHER TO BRING PETS HOME

Did you know that because of Canadian pet industry leaders, your lost pet’s microchip can be read across the country? These leaders make up the National Companion Animal Coalition (NCAC)

  

The NCAC works together to make sure Radio Frequency Identification products (aka microchip readers, microchips and databases) conform to the revised Canadian standards for electronic identification devices used for companion animals. This means that no matter where a pet is lost, whether near or far from home, their microchip can be read anywhere.  

Pet services such as veterinary clinics, municipalities, humane societies, animal control who use products appearing on the list of NCAC recognized RFID products can:

1. Be confident that their microchip reader will be able to read chips showing the present (ISO) and older standard chip.

2. Access the relevant databases to find a match and get a lost pet home.

CKC Teams Up with Pet Vu Inc. to Help Members Keep Their Dogs Safe 

Oakville, Ontario – July, 27 2016 CKC is pleased to announce its new alliance with PetVu Inc. to bring members an exclusive offer featuring Pet Vu’s cutting-edge technology that allows owners to track their dog’s location and daily activities at all times, using Pet Vu’s GPS tracking device.            

Pet Vu uses mobile technology and offers its GPS tracker in conjunction with a mobile app that is downloadable via The App Store or Google Play.
